Photography

I’ve been doing photography for more than three years now. I started as a way to discover my new hobby. One day, I was inspired by my teacher at the time who also happened to be a professional photographer. I started to take photos for fun with the help and advice given from him. Since then, the creation of my photographs never stopped. I captured many different things and many situations. From just a normal portraits to drone photography, I learned lots of things already in these three years. What I love about the photography is that you can carry stories behind each photo. Below are just some examples of things and situations that I captured recently. I’m looking forward to learn and capture millions of more things in my life.

I like taking photos of a person standing in between a harsh light and the camera. The background light makes the person look more holy. In this particular shot, my friend was coming up the hill and I thought it would be cool to snap a shot there. You can see that he’s exhausted by his eyes and his breath in the air.

It was just before the sunset when I took this photo. Sunrises and sunsets are the supreme moments to take photos. Whenever I take photos at sunrise or sunset time, all the photos look a thousand times better than any other photos. In this particular photo, my friend was on his skateboard and I asked him to do shuvit. It took him about three tries to make. Since I could only take this shot in between the couple of minutes that I had, I’m super happy that I got exactly what I wanted.

This was a sunrise shot of my school’s running track. It was my idea to come here very early in the morning to capture this shot. I love how the sunlight is partially hitting the tree branches and part of the track.

This shot was taken at dawn. Since the guitar is made out of wood, I wanted to take my guitar’s photo right next to a tree. The hardest part was figuring out the balance point of the guitar and leaning it on the tree to stand by itself. That was a bit of a nervous moment, but I love how it turned out. Lots of contrast in one photo and very warm sunlight hitting the surface of my guitar. Just beautiful.

This shot was taken a few minutes before sunrise. In my opinion those few minutes before the sunrise are very beautiful. I love this image because you can see the lumber mill factory with lights on, meaning that there are some people working there even though it’s very early in the morning. This lumber mill is fully operational 24/7 and I wanted to tell the story of, “Never stop working,” in this picture. It turned out great and I’m happy about it.

This is a shot of a Jeep Rubicon on the trail. The story that I wanted to tell was, “Never stop exploring.” I love exploring this world and wanted to share my thoughts with others. I love how I was able to make the leaves a deep green color and the dirt and wood chips a bright orange color.

In my opinion, fog always makes the scenery look very mystical. In this photo, the fog looks like a ghost trying to disturb the surroundings. It was an early Sunday morning when I woke up and saw this from the window. I had to take this picture because the light was perfect and the fog was also perfect. I’m super happy with this photo and I can’t ask for more.

In this photo, you can see the distinct figure of the trees and some birds on them. The color of the sky was spectacular and I didn’t need to do any color editing. To take this picture, I did a good 20 minute hike up the trail. It was definitely worth the hike.

There are three things I love about this photo. I love the orange and blue contrast of this shot, as well as the diagonal angle of the dark blue cloud at the top of this picture and, finally,  the cloud in the middle of the image. This cloud, which is lit by the orange light of the sunset, gives the whole image a warm look while the other parts of this picture has a bit of a colder look. This color contrast makes this picture very special.
